Getting

started

If you’re setting up your first BASM

If you’ve already set up your new BASM but want to start again, learn how to reset your BASM.

Otherwise, follow the next steps:

Insert unique

Private Key

Locate your unique Private Key and place it in your BASM laptop.

Press Power ON button

Press the device’s power button until you see the CryptoDATA logo.

Select the CryptoDATA

Select the CryptoDATA OS operating system.

Enter the default

Select Guest account

Select Guest account

Enter the default

Configure

account settings

Configure your personalized account settings like:
  • Language
  • Keyboard
  • Location
  • Time zone

Set disk

Warning

Your password must be kept confidential at all times. The password should never be shared or exposed to others. No one should have access to your login credentials, therefore we strongly recommend storing them in a secure place.
Disk protocol uses a strong encryption algorithm and consequently the restoration of CryptoDATA OS will not be possible in case of forgetting or losing your password, as CryptoDATA Tech Co. does not collect, use or store user data.

Final step

Open CryptoDATA OS — Tap ‘Get Started’ to begin using your device. Make a safe copy of your data by backing up, and find out about more features in the user guide for your BASM.
